Wuhan Cymbals & Gongs have been in production for over 1900 years! The production process of a Wuhan cymbal has not changed all that much in that time. The exact metal composition and procedures are a carefully kept secret, and are not as constant a compositoin as other manufacturers might use. The tuning and shaping of the profile, cup, and flange is still done by hand. Every Wuhan cymbal produced today is as unique as the ancient cymbals produced thousands of years ago!
